The most important aspect when buying clothes is the material of the dress

When we choose to buy clothes, we try to consider a lot of aspects, such as color, size and quality, and last but not least, we pay attention to the material from which they are made. Most of the time, this last aspect has a decisive influence on our choice. Classic fabrics like linen, cotton, jeans are well known to everyone. These are types of materials that we encounter every day and know their properties. However, there are times when we are not sure, we do not know for sure what priorities have some materials like polyester, viscose or softshell.

We often ask ourselves: which material wrinkle?, which stretch?, which should not be ironed?, how can it be washed?, if it will fade his color? It's worth researching about them, but below we'll try to give some pointers as well.

The cotton
It is one of the most popular, most comfortable and well-known textiles, about which we can only say positive things. It has good absorbency, it is difficult to tear, so it is mainly used for the manufacture of underwear, socks, T-shirts, pants, skirts, and also presents a popular raw material for the production of children's clothes. They can be washed up to 60 degrees (if it is 100% cotton), but after frequent washing, the colors may fade. The only downside is that it creases and flakes easily, so it's worth washing with the inside out.

The polyester
It often appears among the components of the clothing material. It is very widespread, there are countless ways to use it. Its advantage is that it wrinkles less than cotton, it is strong, durable, does not stretch. Due to its good thermal insulation capacity, it is used for the manufacture of winter clothing, as well as, due to its sweat resistance, in the manufacture of sports and hiking clothes. The downside is that it is not antibacterial, so it needs to be washed more often.

The elastane
The third most popular fabric is elastane. It is often combined with cotton to reduce wrinkling. Due to its flexible texture, it is used to make underwear, socks, tights and swimwear. Washing at low temperatures is recommended.
